I’m now living alone. Neither has an option for just one person. A two person serving is too much food and puts all of these outside my budget. I’m better off to just UBER to a good restaurant. Home Chief is the most recent I’ve tried.
Hello Fresh
To be fair, I tried this about 6 years ago, cancelled and then tried about about 6 months ago.
Both times it start well but the quality and variety tapered off to the point I felt it was not a good value.
The best value was the component labelling and cooking instructions.

I like the food much better than Hello Fresh, but to be fair I never got far enough into my subscription to know if that would be true for the long run.
On the plus side, 3 out of 4 meals were very tasty. The fourth was called TACO something but only in my wildest imagination would it resemble a Taco anything.
Another con, but not a deal breaker, was the lack of ingredient labeling and poor instructions.
For 2 people I’d choose Home Chief over Hello Fresh.
